I received an owl from my Mum today and apparently my older sister, Catriona, is pregnant. Four months along, actually! I don't know how she has been keeping it from my family up on the islands since there is just no such thing as privacy, but she did it. She's also not telling them who the father is, which ought to be exciting. I'm guessing, then, that it's this bloke she was seeing when she was in Hogwarts that got into some feud with my brother, Lucas, and my dad has never approved...but Cat thought she was being rebellious.

Drama, drama, drama. Honestly, my family is far too dramatic for their own good and needs to have their own wireless serial with all of the insanity that happens up there. And they wonder why I'm in London.

I'm certain that I'm completely behind the times in pointing this out, but there are just so many Hogwarts alumni here from my time there! It's very exciting, but I think that what with the years having gone by and a war ending so many of us have gone through some large changes in our lives. So, I think that means we should all reintroduce ourselves in a fun and exciting way. (I hate to admit that this is something we have our trainees do when they start. I also hate to admit that this is also just a shameless way for me to get caught up on what has been happening in everyone's lives in one journal entry.)

So, long story short, everyone write three things that have happened to you since your finishing of Hogwarts. I realize that this isn't exactly fun and exciting, but it did keep your attention - admit it.

As for me!
1. A few months after leaving Hogwarts, I became employed at the Astronomical Society of Wizarding London and have been there since.
2. I became a published writer! I had no idea that this would actually happen, but it definitely brought my career to a new level.
3. I grew a full inch. I know - I was shocked and in quite a great deal of awe as well. However, that has yet to keep me away from heels. They're quite a beautiful thing, you know that?
And there you have it.

I really wish that the Daily Prophet would cease in keeping us updated on the twisted and disturbing mind that is Fenrir Greyback. I believe that by now most of us understand that he is incredibly deranged. Personally, I believe that putting him to death is the correct road to take so they really are under no obligation to try to convince me further.

Appalling.

Good Merlin, I just realized I haven't said anything intelligent in here since I turned sixteen. Honestly, what a welcome to the street. There's nothing quite like spending the entire day worrying about my NEWTs and Miles's facial hair, although it is very nice facial hair and I only wish I had the ability to grow it myself.

I'm rather aware that that wasn't any more intelligent.

I digress.

I think I enjoy writing single sentences all separated like this.

I believe so.

But, I digress. I've never been very keen on writing in journals, so I'm trying my very best not to bore anyone who feels it necessary to see what my handwriting has to say. I promise that I'm not nearly this boring at all times. Just to prove that fact, I feel that it is necessary to go out tonight. Wait, not tonight. I have to work in the morning. Perhaps tomorrow Thurs Friday night? I think that it is a smashing idea. Where is somewhere fun to go on this street?

Rolf, it's mandatory that you attend.

I haven't had one of these in ages and I totally don't know why because journals are so wicked. My mum always said that journals are a really good thing to have because then you can look back and see all of the wicked things you did back when you were younger. She also said that they're really good to give your kids but I don't think I'm ever going to have kids so I guess that doesn't really matter?

Anyway, hi! I'm Esme MacFusty and I just moved onto Euphoria Lane a few weeks ago! I live about the Zen of Art which is probably the most wicked thing in the world if you ask me which you didn't but pretend you did anyway.

Wow, I woke up this morning and I remembered I'm sixteen? It's kind of wicked? I was thinking

Oh, Merlin. Oh, Merlin. We have NEWTs next year! I can't write in this anymore. I need to start studying or I'll
